Big House breeding family
Do you want to be a part of our Big House Breeding Family?
Without our Big House Family, we would not be able to obtain the quality breeding program we desire. Each family receives a life long pet. Our dogs are not “used” and then discarded. Each selected dog participates in our program and is later retired appropriately to lounge on the couch with their Big House Family. We value building relationships, sharing our knowledge from experience, and giving other families the opportunity to become apart of something bigger. This program has been life changing for us and our foundation families. We CANNOT thank each one of you enough!!!
Have you thought about raising a litter of puppies in your home? Join our team and become apart of something bigger! Don’t worry, we are there to guide you along the way.
How does the Big House Breeding Family work?
We provide you with a selected, breeding quality, female puppy when she is eight weeks old. She is part of your family! We complete her ABKC registration paperwork and watch her grow. When she reaches desired breeding age, we work together in selecting the right stud for her first litter. We cover all costs accrued with the breeding service. We are here every step of the way. Our goal is to give you the knowledge and confidence to raise puppies on your own. Our program is available nationwide. We are also available to make home visits, help set up for the new litter, even be present during delivery to ease any nerves. In person guidance is dependent on location. We work together in marketing and finding every puppy the best home! Here at Big House Bullies, we strive to build relationships through our love of the breed.
How do I qualify?
1. You must own your home or provide written, breed specific approval from your landlord.
2. You must have access to a veterinarian/breeding service for progesterone testing and artificial insemination.
3. Any male dogs in the home must be neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
What do we ask of our Big House breeding Families?
We ask you to raise your Big House puppy in a loving home. We ask that you train her in obedience and socialization. She should maintain a healthy physical appearance and get adequeate exercise daily. We ask for open lines of communication. We want to ensure your female is well loved and cared for and we want you to be feel confident raising a litter in your home. We ask that two litters are raised while in contract. After that, we welcome a third breeding. This is a bonus litter for both of us. After the contract is fulfilled and you’ve determined your female should be “retired,” it is strongly recommended that she be spayed to avoid any unwanted pregnancies and health concerns in her future.
**There is an option to “opt out” of raising the litter in your home. Big House Bullies must be notified in advance of your female coming into her heat cycle. She would reside with us during her pregnancy and up to 6 weeks post delivery.
**Each contract can vary based on the needs of the Big House Breeding Family. Profit distribution is determined by many factors - price of stud selected, shipping/transportation, ease the delivery (natural vs c-section,) where the litter is raised etc. Any profit from the litter is distributed based on agreed upon contract.
Joining our Big House Breeding Family isn’t for the faint of heart! The joy of raising a litter of puppies is an experience you will never forget! The rewards of your work and happiness a puppy brings to another family is immeasurable. Remember, we are with you every step of the way! Never hesitate to call.
